The Crüe

Nikki Milliner

Lead Vocals

Nikki hails from Riverside, California and grew up on a steady diet of 90’s alt rock and grunge, obsessing over bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, and Foo Fighters (plus a heavy dose of oldies and classic rock for good measure). She’s been singing her whole life — in church, in the shower — and joined Night Train in 2015 on a crazy whim. The rest is history. By day, Nikki works as a writer and is the proud mom of two teenagers who are way more interesting than anyone in the band. Her hobbies include tending chickens and gardening, camping, and asking Mike if he’s brought any extra AA batteries to gigs.

Ashton Chevalier

Vocals and Guitar

Night Train's distilled shot of pure rock and roll energy was actually born in Louisiana, not as one might assume, at a distillery in Lynchburg Tennessee. After discovering Van Halen as a young SoCal teen, Ashton decided to teach himself guitar so he could become both Eddie Van Halen AND David Lee Roth at the same time. His education led him up North to Berkeley where he took enough formal music training to be dangerous, but not enough to be famous. After moving to San Jose, he founded local party rock band Dr. Taco as a way to express his lust for partying and rock and roll. He met Michael while trying out lead guitarists for his Pearl Jam tribute side project, after that burned out they built Night Train from the ashes. Ashton currently serves as lead guitar, marketing department, sound engineer, chief roadie, lead headbanger, jester and mascot.

Michael Young

Lead Guitar

Raised in small town Indiana and refined in Chicago, Michael picked up the guitar at age 9–mostly because he was bad at basketball. He cut his teeth playing in a high school punk rock band before moving to Chicago, where he wrote and recorded an original album, shared stages with Ziggy Marley, members of INXS, and the John Mellencamp band, and played with premier private event and wedding bands such as Who Knew and Alternative Theory. He formed Night Train shortly after moving to the Bay Area in 2010, and has worked with local favorites Pop Fiction, Hella Good, Fast Times, and the Aftershoxx. Don’t tell anyone, but he’s also a tech startup attorney.

Drew Yurkov

Drums

Drew has known he wanted to be a drummer since he was a small kid, sneaking into jazz clubs to see the greats (with help from his dad). Living in the Washintgon, D.C. area, Drew would later get to study with some of the greatest drummers in the US. After playing up and down the east coast for years, Drew decided to head to San Francisco, where he’s been a part of groups like Malice Cooper (Alice Cooper tribute), Modus, and Mongolian heavy metal act Huh Mongol. Drew is a founding member of Night Train and loves providing the pulse for the band’s unique brand of rock-focused dance music.

Travis Morgan

Bass Guitar and Vocals

Born in the rural Midwest, Travis attended school in upstate New York, bounced around the east coast before finally landing in Bay Area, California - but music has always been Travis' home. He is a musician who has performed in 13 countries, recorded over 15 albums, and has 20 years of experience. While he's explored many rabbit holes of the audio world, the one he's tumbled down the furthest is the bass guitar. When he is not working on music, he spends time hiking, traveling, and getting after it.
